Kiln transportation

Kiln transportation.

In the end of 2008 SWTrans carried out multimodal transportation of kiln, from  Kilmakoski (Finland) to Karabash (Russia). In all, 5 units of cargo, 6 meters each in diameter, were delivered.

This transportation included project works, permissions for bulky loads transportation through the territory of Russia and Finland, custom registration and organization of  cargo handling works.  Most part of the route the cargo was carried by water, so number permissions for transportation of bulky loads was significantly reduced. Due to this, many other activities such as organization of traffic police escort, lifting of cables and passage of bridges were avoided.
