From 2007 till 2009, SWTrans company has carried out transportation of medical modular blocks, within the framework of national "Health" project. Being paid Special attention by government, this project puts double responsibility on all performers including carrier. The whole process of construction depends on the schedule of delivery of modules.Each module is a separate room or a part of a room which is already equipped not only with the complete fixed medical equipment, laboratory equipment and building services installations but also all internal finishes and furniture. So delivery of the blocks actually makes up about 2/3 of the whole job on the project.
The geography of transportation of this cargo covered 3 continents. Loads had to be delivered by sea from Turkey and Germany to the ports of St.-Petersburg, Rostov-na-Donu, Novorossiysk and Perm and then by automobiles to Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Cheboksary, Chelyabinsk and Krasnoyarsk. Process of registration of necessary permissions for oversized cargoes in Russia, Germany and Turkey and coordination has made the lion's share of all preliminary works. The scale of the transportation is impressing – altogether more than 1500 units of non standard loads were delivered, 75 road trains in each trip.
