The project name shows its significant scale – transportation of an ice palace from Turku (Finland) to Saransk (Russia). As well as in any other transportation the crucial factor is organization. This requires various permissions for convoy moving through the territory of Finland and Russia and coordination of it with the administration of every subject of the last one. The transport column was escorted by traffic police.
Among all the equipment transported in this project special attention due to difficulty of carrying has been paid to the following:
-anchor bolts
-refrigerating system
-elements of the roof
Beside those elements carcass beams each
33 meters long were to be carried (see «transportation of lengthy cargoes» section)
