Transportation of milling equipment for aircraft industry.

SWTrans has carried out the transportation of particularized milling equipment for aircraft industry from Switzerland to the Far East.

Total volume of equipment delivery was 644 cubic meters:

9 oversized and heavy equipment items, and

9 boxes with components (including hazardous cargoes)

For save transportation 9 not oversized cargoes were packed into 3 containers to reduce the risk of cargo damage or it loss because of numerous reloading.

All of these 18 cargoes were departed according to the one logistic plan to ensure simultaneous arrival.

Cargoes were loaded from the storehouse of producer to the nearest river port as it was impossible to transport cargoes for a long time by land because of its stowing dimensions. There are a lot of restrictions because of mountain tunnels on the territory of mountain   Austria.

Then cargoes were delivered by barges to Antwerp, Belgium port. There cargoes were loaded to the ocean-going vessel to Pusan (Korea).

In the Pusan port cargoes were reloaded on the smaller craft to Vladivostok.
