SWTrans is on the Far East!
We’re continuing our news with one more tremendous event. The Company SWTrans has finished large-scale project within the limits of upgrading program of Khabarovsk Oil Refinery plant( NPZ).
In accordance with the terms of contract the Company SWTrans has undertaken commitments for unloading of vessel, road carriage and installation of vacuum tower with the size of: length: 35 m, diameter : 8,5 m, weight: 240 tn in vertical position.
The tower was delivered in port Khabarovsk by sea. In order to make unloading from the vessel it had been rent a floating crane “Black Dragon” in China with lift capacity of 500 tn. Unloading of the tower from the vessel was carried out by direct variant on the self-propelled axes (SPMT).
Within the second stage the vacuum tower has been removed from the port territory to installation site of Khabarovsk NPZ. The carriage route of total 4,5 km long passed through the city area where it had been arranged a complex of steps and operations for disembarrassed transportation of vehicle with cargo to the place of destination.
The carriage was held at the night time. The inhabitants of Khabarovsk displayed a vivid interest to this project which looked rather spectacular to be shot by photo and video cameras.
The carriage had been enduring all the night and finished in a safe way by the morning at plant’s territory. The out- gauge tower was fixed on metal pedestals for the final third stage – installation in vertical position.
