As you know, almost all transportations of heavy cargo are unique and original. The example of this originality is cement mill transportation which was carried out SWTrans.  

One of the features of this transportation – a rolling cargo out from barge with the use of transfer carts and not applying crane.   

As the sizes of cement mills determined the kind of transport which was used as well as the others details of transportation, and cargo operations were performed over a beach which is situated on the minimum range from the final destination.

Temporary beach strengthening was prepared for the mooring of barge. Barge was unmoored by head-on, and trailer with cargo could slide down on the shore. Oversized cargo was loaded on trailer by means of the hydraulics of trailer and without using cranes.

Trailer performed three discharge operations. The place wasn’t adapting for such type of unloading which was carried our in three days.
