Company SWTrans realized difficult transportation of the plane from the Samara region in the city of Dubna. Plane dimensions strongly exceeded the admissible sizes – length of 42 m, width of 15,5 m, height – 9 m, therefore transportation to Dubna was used two types of transport, automobile – opened platform, and river – barge RO-RO. The barge put on a ground at an overload of the plane in weight about 40 tons. Loading was carried out by self-arrival of the loaded lorry convoy, thus the plane has been displaced on one board, concerning diameter of a plane for unobstructed passage of sluices. All dismantled details have been laid onboard a vessel. Loading has in total occupied two days. For ten days of movement on water the barge has passed 5 sluices for what SWTrans has issued additional coordination and permissions. For prevention of overturning of a vessel during passage of sluices, additional tows have been involved. Uniqueness of the given transportation consists that in point of reception of cargo the reservoir is boggy and vessel calling to a mooring needed diving works on bottom clearing, thus the mooring has been taken out on 100 m in water, that is company SWTrans has practically constructed a new mooring.
