Colmar 604 loader multimodal transportation

SWTrans has once again proved not only its professionalism in multimodal transportations, but also demonstrated policy of clients money economy.

In September 2009 SWTrans has transported a loader from Arqua Polesine (Italy) to Nikolaev (Ukraine).

The multimodal scheme of transportation helped to save a considerable summ of money in compare with direct delivery.

The route was worked out by SWTrans experts.

The loader was delivered to port Trieste (Italy) where it was shipped on a ferry and sent to port Pendik (Turkey, Istanbul). Then the loader was delivered by a low-bed truck to port Derince (Turkey) and then again by a ferry to port Ilyichevsk and then finally to Nikolaev by autotransport.

Each stage of transportation was closely co-ordinated with a concrete carrier (owners of vehicles/ ferry lines). It has allowed to work operatively and effectively.
